  • Though the youngest wasn't supposed to get the bigger blessing, Jacob/Israel gave it to him first.

  • If you've got pain in your heart - plot twist - God will use your pain to heal others.

  • God says he will bless you better than anyone can curse you.

Day-Day Life Application

  • Even though 2020 has been the year of plot twists and we may feel like everything is upside down, God is the God of plot twists and His plans for this year haven't changed.

  • When Joseph was betrayed by his brother, that betrayal destroyed him BUT it had been a part of God's plan all along, so that Joseph's bigger purpose in saving the entire family and Egypt from the famine could come to fruition.

  • Always have faith, no matter what you're going through because our God is a God of plot twists!
