Journaling Prompt: Reflecting on the 1st Quarter of 2021

Happy Wednesday loves! Can you guys believe today marks the end of the first quarter of 2021? I know I can't! The end of every quarter prompts reflection time for me as it's a tracking point for where I am and how my year is going so far. As I reviewed my journal entries for the past 3 months, it was amazing to see how much God had done in and through me in such a short period of time! I was able to not only be grateful because of the things He has pulled me through during this time, but I was also able to revisit some beautiful memories from these past 3 months.

Reflective journaling is a great way to take in what is happening around you before it becomes a distant memory. It helps you be more present, practice more gratitude for the things in your life and reflect on how far you've come. It's a great way to set goals for the future because you can take inventory of where you are in this very moment and get a sense of how much space there is to fill between where you are and where you want to be.

This reflecting exercise was so beneficial to me that I wanted to share some journaling prompts to guide your own reflection of your 1st quarter of 2021.

Thinking about the past 3 months:

  • What are you thankful to God for?

  • What breakthroughs did you experience?

  • What new obstacles did you have to face?

  • How did God make a way for you where there seemed to be no way?

  • What lessons will you be taking from this quarter into the next?

  • Based on where you are right now, where would you like to be on June 30th, 2021? What can you today to help you get one step closer to that goal?

I pray you find these helpful! If you're not subscribed yet, please make sure you subscribe for new blog posts every Wednesday! If I can help or pray for you in any way, please feel free to reach out.

Happy Journaling!
